Amending O. Reg. 544/06
(PLANS OF SUBDIVISION)
1. Section 3 of Ontario Regulation 544/06 is revoked.
2. Subsection 4 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out the portion before paragraph 1 and substituting the following:
Notice (“complete application”) (s. 51 (19.4) (a) of Act)
(1) Notice of an application for approval of a plan of subdivision under clause 51 (19.4) (a) of the Act shall be given in the manner described in the following subsections of this section:

3. (1) Subsection 5 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “clause 51 (20) (b)” and substituting “subsection 51 (20)”.
(2) Section 5 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:
(3.1) The notice of a public meeting may be given together with notice under clause 51 (19.4) (a) of the Act, or may be given separately.
4. (1) Subsections 6 (1) and (2) of the Regulation are revoked.
(2) Subsection 6 (3) of the Regulation is amended by adding “under subsection 51 (21) of the Act” after “If the approval authority requests” in the portion before clause (a).
(3) Clause 6 (3) (b) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “clause 51 (20) (b)” and substituting “subsection 51 (20)”.
5. (1) Paragraphs 6 and 7 of section 8 of the Regulation are revoked.
(2) Subparagraph 9 i of section 8 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “clause 51 (20) (b)” and substituting “subsection 51 (20)”.
Commencement
6. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day subsection 14 (1) of Schedule 12 to the More Homes, More Choice Act, 2019 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
