Amending O. Reg. 340/94

(DRIVERS’ LICENCES)

1. Ontario Regulation 340/94 is amended by adding the following section:

23.0.1 (1) The holder of a Class A, B, C, D, E, F or G driver’s licence may be issued a Class M driver’s licence if the Minister is satisfied that the holder has, within the previous six months, successfully completed a Ministry-approved three-wheeled motorcycle training course.

(2) Subject to section 22, a Class A, B, C, D, E, F or G driver’s licence is authority to drive a motorcycle only during a Ministry-approved three-wheeled motorcycle training course.

(3) The Minister may impose a condition on a Class M driver’s licence issued under this section that the holder not drive a motorcycle other than a three-wheeled motorcycle.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of July 1, 2020 and the day it is filed.
