Amending Reg. 709 of R.R.O. 1990

(LAW FOUNDATION)

1. The definition of “banker” in subsection 1 (1) of Regulation 709 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by striking out “a credit union or league to which the Credit Union and Caisses Populaires Act, 1994 applies” and substituting “a credit union or central to which the Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act, 2020 applies”.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day section 1 of Schedule 7 (Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act, 2020) to the Protect, Support and Recover from COVID-19 Act (Budget Measures), 2020 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
