Amending O. Reg. 663/20

(CLEANER TRANSPORTATION FUELS: RENEWABLE CONTENT REQUIREMENTS FOR GASOLINE AND DIESEL FUELS)

1. (1) Clause 8 (1.1) (a) of Ontario Regulation 663/20 is amended by adding “subject to subsection (1.2)” at the beginning.

(2) Section 8 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:

(1.2) A fuel supplier may elect to defer compliance with the requirement in clause (1.1) (a) until the 2026 compliance period.

2. (1) Clause 9 (1.1) (a) of the Regulation is amended by adding “subject to subsection (2.1)” at the beginning.

(2) Section 9 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:

(2.1) A fuel supplier may elect to defer compliance with the requirement in clause (1.1) (a) until the 2026 compliance period.

Commencement

3. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
