Amending O. Reg. 316/07

(DESIGNATION AND CLASSIFICATION OF PROVINCIAL PARKS)

1. (1) The item for Devil’s Glen Provincial Park (Recreational Class) in Table 1 to Ontario Regulation 316/07 is revoked.

(2) Table 1 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following item:

 

Devil’s Glen Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class)

The following areas, containing 79 hectares, more or less:
1. In the Municipal Township of Clearview, County of Simcoe, the area being composed of part of Lots 18 and 19, and part of the road allowance between Lots 18 and 19, in Concession 10, part of the road allowance between Concessions 10 and 11, and part of Lot 18, Concession 11, as shown on the plan of the Geographic Township of Nottawasaga, designated as Part 1 on a plan known as Plan of Devil’s Glen Provincial Park, filed on February 17, 1998 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.
2. In the Municipal Township of Clearview, County of Simcoe, the area being composed of part of the west half of the north half of Lot 18, Concession 11, Geographic Township of Nottawasaga, comprising all of Property Identification Number 58228-0152 in the Land Titles Division of Simcoe (No. 51).

 

(3) The item for French River Provincial Park (Waterway Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

French River Provincial Park (Waterway Class)

In the Geographic Townships of Humbolt, Travers, Struthers, Allen, Bigwood and Mowat, and in unsurveyed territory west of Mowat, and islands in Georgian Bay of Lake Huron, Municipality of Killarney, and in the Geographic Townships of Bigwood, Mason and Scollard, Municipality of French River, Territorial District of Sudbury, and in the Geographic Townships of Falconer, Latchford and Bertram, Municipality of West Nipissing, Territorial District of Nipissing, and in the Geographic and Municipal Township of Nipissing, and in the Geographic Townships of Patterson, Hardy, McConkey, Blair and Mowat, Territorial District of Parry Sound, containing 73,521 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships and unsurveyed territory designated as Parts 1 to 25, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of French River Provincial Park (Waterway Class), filed on December 29, 2005 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, except that area of land in the Geographic Township of Bigwood and unsurveyed territory, Territorial District of Parry Sound, and in unsurveyed territory in the Municipality of Killarney, Territorial District of Sudbury, designated as Parts 1 to 5, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of the Boundary of the 2024 French River Provincial Park Removals (Waterway Class), filed on October 2, 2025 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

(4) The item for Grundy Lake Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Grundy Lake Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class)

In the Geographic Township of Mowat, Territorial District of Parry Sound, containing 3,604 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic township designated as Parts 1 to 6, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of Grundy Lake Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on October 2, 2025 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of January 1, 2026 and the day this Regulation is filed.
