(DESIGNATION AND CLASSIFICATION OF PROVINCIAL PARKS)

1. (1) The item for Eagle-Dogtooth Provincial Park (Waterway Class) in Table 1 to Ontario Regulation 316/07 is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Eagle-Dogtooth Provincial Park (Waterway Class)

In the Geographic Township of Langton, Municipal Township of Machin, and in the Geographic Townships of Bridges, Coyle, Desmond, Docker, Haycock, Kirkup, Lemay, McMeekin and Work, and in unsurveyed territory, Territorial District of Kenora, containing 41,200 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships and unsurveyed territory designated as Parts 1 to 5, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of P2363 Eagle-Dogtooth Provincial Park (Waterway Class), filed on February 24, 2003 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, and in the Geographic Township of Coyle, Territorial District of Kenora, being part of Location CL 16777 designated as Part 4 on Reference Plan 23R-12100, and that area of land in unsurveyed territory, Territorial District of Kenora designated as Parts 1 and 2 on a plan known as Plan of the 2024 Eagle-Dogtooth Provincial Park Addition (Waterway Class), filed on February 26, 2026 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, except that part of the Geographic Township of Coyle, Territorial District of Kenora, being part of Location CL 16777 designated as Part 1 on Reference Plan 23R-12100, contained within the extents of Part 1 on a plan known as Plan of P2363 Eagle-Dogtooth Provincial Park (Waterway Class), filed on February 24, 2003 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

(2) The item for LaVerendrye Provincial Park (Waterway Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

LaVerendrye Provincial Park (Waterway Class)

In the Geographic Township of Pardee, Municipality of Neebing, and in the Geographic Townships of Devon, Hartington and Robbins, and unsurveyed territory, Territorial District of Thunder Bay, containing 18,568 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships and unsurveyed territory designated as Part 1 on a plan known as Plan of LaVerendrye Provincial Park , approved on July 19, 1993 and filed in the office of the Regional Director for the Northwest Region of the Ministry of Natural Resources at Thunder Bay, Ontario located in the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, and that area of land in the Geographic Township of Pardee, Municipality of Neebing, Territorial District of Thunder Bay, designated as Parts 1 to 4, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of the 2025 LaVerendrye Provincial Park Addition (Waterway Class), filed on February 26, 2026 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

(3) The item for Wasaga Beach Provincial Park (Recreational Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Wasaga Beach Provincial Park (Recreational Class)

In the Geographic Townships of Flos, Nottawasaga and Sunnidale, Town of Wasaga Beach, County of Simcoe, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as parts 1 to 28, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park, filed on December 15, 1995 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, except that area of land in the Geographic Townships of Flos and Sunnidale, Town of Wasaga Beach, County of Simcoe, designated as:
1.  That portion of Part 1 on a plan known as Plan of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park, filed on December 15, 1995 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, described as follows:
i. Beginning at the northeasterly corner of Part 1.
ii. Thence in a general southwesterly direction along the easterly limit of Part 1 to where it intersects with the production of the southwesterly limit of Willard Avenue, Registered Plan 957 (now known as 16th Street).
iii. Thence northwesterly along the said production of the southwesterly limit of Willard Avenue, Registered Plan 957 (now known as 16th Street) to where it intersects with the westerly limit of Part 1.
iv. Thence in a general northeasterly direction along the said westerly limit to the northwest corner of Part 1.
v. Thence in an easterly direction along the northerly limit of Part 1 to the point of beginning.
2.  All of Part 20 on a plan known as Plan of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park, filed on December 15, 1995 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of July 1, 2026 and the day this Regulation is filed.
