Amending Reg. 570 of R.R.O. 1990
(SCHOOL HEALTH SERVICES AND PROGRAMS)
1. The title to Regulation 570 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is revoked and the following substituted:
school health programs and services
2. Section 1 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:
Prescribed school health programs and services
1. (1) Pursuant to subsections 6 (1) and (3) of the Act, every board of health shall provide the health programs and services set out in Column 1 of the Table to this section for the classifications of pupils set out opposite the program or service in Column 2 of the Table.
(2) In the Table,
“assessment” means the systematic collection and analysis of information in respect of an individual in order to provide a basis for making decisions about that individual’s health care; (“évaluation”)
“surveillance” means the systematic and ongoing collection, collation and analysis of information in respect of a population of individuals in order for a board of health to plan, monitor, report on and evaluate programs. (“surveillance”)

3. This Regulation comes into force on the later of January 1, 2016 and the day this Regulation is filed.
