Amending O. Reg. 366/09

(DISPLAY SCREENS AND HAND-HELD DEVICES)

1. Section 1 of Ontario Regulation 366/09 is amended by adding the following definition:

“commercial motor vehicle” has the same meaning as in section 3 of Ontario Regulation 419/15 (Definitions of Commercial Motor Vehicle and Tow Truck) made under the Act; (“véhicule utilitaire”)

2. (1) Subsection 6 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “within the meaning of subsection 16 (1) of the Act”.

(2) Paragraph 2 of subsection 6 (2) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

2. Drivers of roadside assistance service vehicles.

3. (1) Subsection 12 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “within the meaning of subsection 16 (1) of the Act”.

(2) Paragraph 2 of subsection 12 (2) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

2. Drivers of roadside assistance service vehicles.

Commencement

4. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day subsection 1 (3) of Schedule 2 to the Fighting Fraud and Reducing Automobile Insurance Rates Act, 2014 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
