Amending O. Reg. 340/94

(DRIVERS’ LICENCES)

1. Paragraphs 1, 3, 4 and 6 of subsection 26 (1) of Ontario Regulation 340/94 are revoked and the following substituted:

1. For a Class A, B, C, D, E or F driver’s road test, $96.75.

3. For a level 2 Class G2 or M2 driver’s road test, $89.25.

4. For a level 1 Class G1 or M1 driver’s road test, $52.50.

6. For a driver’s knowledge test other than a driver’s knowledge test described in paragraph 6.1, $15.75.

6.1 For a Class A, B, C, D, E or F driver’s knowledge test, $23.25.

2. Subsections 26.1 (1) to (3) of the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:

(1) Beginning on September 1, 2018, and on every September 1 after that, the fees prescribed in paragraphs 1, 3, 4, 6 and 6.1 of subsection 26 (1) are the fees prescribed as of August 31 of the year adjusted by the percentage change in the Ontario Consumer Price Index between the previous two calendar years.

(2) The actual fees prescribed in paragraphs 1, 3, 4, 6 and 6.1 of subsection 26 (1) are the amounts determined by the calculation described in subsection (1) rounded to the nearest quarter of a dollar.

(3) If the percentage change in the Ontario Consumer Price Index between the previous two calendar years results in a negative amount, the fees prescribed in paragraphs 1, 3, 4, 6 and 6.1 of subsection 26 (1) as of September 1 of a given year shall remain the same as those prescribed as of August 31 of that year.

3. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
