Amending O. Reg. 136/18

(PERSONAL SERVICE SETTINGS)

1. Section 5 of Ontario Regulation 136/18 is amended by adding the following subsection:

(2) Subsection (1) does not apply where the only personal service to be provided is a hairdressing or barbering service.

2. Subsection 8 (6) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

(6) Subsection (3) does not apply to the operator of a personal service setting where the personal service setting,

(a) only provides hairdressing or barbering services; and

(b) reprocesses reusable equipment before the beginning and after the end of each business day.

Commencement

3. This Regulation comes into force on the later of January 1, 2020 and the day it is filed.
