Amending O. Reg. 187/22

(HOME AND COMMUNITY CARE SERVICES)

1. Paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of subsection 13 (3) of Ontario Regulation 187/22 are revoked and the following substituted:

1. The patient must be an insured person under the Health Insurance Act.

2. At least one of the following must apply:

i. The patient requires personal support services along with the homemaking services.

ii. The patient receives personal support services and homemaking services from a caregiver, and the caregiver requires assistance with the homemaking services in order to continue providing care to the patient.

iii. The patient requires constant supervision as a result of a cognitive impairment or acquired brain injury and the patient’s caregiver requires assistance with the homemaking services.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
