The 2026 Round of Collective Bargaining

Application

1. This Regulation applies with respect to the round of collective bargaining that begins in 2026.

Dates re employee bargaining agencies

2. (1) For the purposes of subsection 20 (5) of the Act, the deadline for applying to the Ontario Labour Relations Board for advice and notifying the Minister that an application has been made is April 10, 2026.

(2) For the purposes of subsection 20 (8) of the Act, the deadline for applying to the Ontario Labour Relations Board for an order and notifying the Minister that an application has been made is April 24, 2026.

(3) For the purposes of subsection 20.1 (5) of the Act, the period within which the notices mentioned in subsections 20.1 (2), (3) and (4) of the Act may be given starts on the day this Regulation is filed and ends on April 1, 2026.

Commencement

3. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
