Amending O. Reg. 668/98

(WILDLIFE IN CAPTIVITY)

1. Section 7 of Ontario Regulation 668/98 is amended by striking out “listed as extirpated, endangered or threatened on the Species at Risk in Ontario list established under the Endangered Species Act, 2007” wherever it appears and substituting in each case “listed as extirpated, endangered or threatened on the Protected Species in Ontario List under the Species Conservation Act, 2025”.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day section 1 of Schedule 10 (Species Conservation Act, 2025) to the Protect Ontario by Unleashing our Economy Act, 2025 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
