Amending O. Reg. 408/23

(CODE OF CONDUCT FOR POLICE SERVICE BOARD MEMBERS)

1. Section 8 of Ontario Regulation 408/23 is amended by striking out “after they were appointed as a member” and substituting “after they became a member”.

2. Subsections 18 (2) and (3) of the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:

(2) Subsection (1) only applies to charges or findings that were made after the individual became a member of the police service board.

(3) The disclosure required by subsection (1) must be made,

(a)  in the case of the head of municipal council, to the municipal council;

(b)  in the case of a member appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council, to the Minister; or

(c)  in any other case, to the person or body that appointed the individual as a member of the police service board.

Commencement

3. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
