Amending Reg. 596 of R.R.O. 1990

(GENERAL)

1. Regulation 596 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by adding the following section:

Work-Related Vehicles

Work-related vehicles

12. For the purposes of paragraph 3 of subsection 159 (2) of the Act, “work-related vehicle” means a motor vehicle of a class commonly used for roadside assistance services, waste collection or highway maintenance, or used by a public utility.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day section 1 of Schedule 2 to the Working for Workers Six Act, 2024 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
