Learn about educational opportunities available at Ontario’s first Indigenous Learning Centre at the Ontario Court of Justice in Toronto.
Overview
The Indigenous Learning Centre is also called:
- Grandmother Buffalo Lodge
- Mashkode-bishiki nookwaayaanagamik (Anishnaabe)
- Ochiotaha Tsarishahi Onnonchiwan (Wendat)
The centre offers events and programs, developed by Aboriginal Legal Services (ALS) for people to learn about:
- Indigenous law
- treaties
- history related to the Ontario justice system
- truth and reconciliation
- Indigenous legal traditions
Everyone is welcome to attend the centre, including:
- the public
- justice sector workers
- students

The Indigenous Learning Centre is located in the Ontario Court of Justice - Toronto, at 10 Armoury St. in downtown Toronto.
The centre is open from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
