Particulars of a Refusal to Renew Registration
S. 49 (1) Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005 (“Act”)

These particulars are posted further to following the 15-day period for Achievers + Intelligent Educational Systems Inc. o/a Ontario College of Management and Technology to require a hearing of the Licence Appeal Tribunal under s. 19(3) of the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005 (“the Act”).
On April 29, 2025, the Superintendent issued a Notice of Proposal to Refuse to Renew Registration to OCMT. On or about May 9, 2025, OCMT filed a Notice of Appeal in respect of the Superintendent’s Notice of Proposal to Refuse to Renew Registration with the Licence Appeal Tribunal (LAT).
On September 25, 2025, OCMT withdrew the appeal and to provide the outstanding financial security on or before October 15, 2025.
OCMT failed to provide the Superintendent with the outstanding financial security on or before October 15, 2025. As such, the Superintendent carried out the proposed refusal and issued to OCMT, a Refusal to Renew Registration dated October 16, 2025, pursuant to s.19(4) of the Act.

Reasons for Decision
The Superintendent of Career Colleges has refused to renew OCMT registration for the following reasons.
- The Registrant has failed to comply with provisions of the Act and the regulations with respect to registration requirements. Specifically, the Registrant failed to submit a financial security required for registration renewal pursuant to s.6 of the Act and subsection 32(1) of Ontario Regulation 414/06 (the “Regulation”).
- The Superintendent is no longer satisfied that the Registrant meets all the requirements set out in subsection 14(1) of the Act. Specifically, the Registrant has not complied with its registration requirements and has not demonstrated financial responsibility.

On October 16, 2025, the Superintendent of Career Colleges carried out the proposal to refuse to renew the Registration of Achievers + Intelligent Educational Systems Inc. o/a Ontario College of Management and Technology
