Overview

The new Ontario Court of Appeal Public Portal (OCAPP) makes it easier for you to:

  • file documents with the court
  • search for documents and case files
  • receive electronic notices and decisions from the court
  • stay informed about court proceedings

You can use the Ontario Court of Appeal Public Portal to appeal from:

  • Civil proceedings (including commercial, bankruptcy and insolvency cases)
  • Family and child protection proceedings
  • Criminal proceedings (including Ontario Review Board and Extradition)
  • Provincial Offences Act proceedings

This portal is for Court of Appeal court cases. For Court of Justice or Superior Court cases please refer to to Ontario Courts Public Portal.

Ontario's Justice Accelerated Strategy

The Ontario Court of Appeal Public Portal is part of our Justice Accelerated Strategy to replace legacy technology, standardize court processes, and integrate systems to transform the way justice is delivered in Ontario. We are working in partnership with the Court of Appeal for Ontario on this initiative.
