1. (1) The fee for a commission appointing a licensee under the Law Society Act as a notary public is $145.  O. Reg. 299/92, s. 1 (1); O. Reg. 430/20, s. 1.

(2) The fee for a commission appointing a person other than a licensee under the Law Society Act as a notary public is $110.  O. Reg. 299/92, s. 1 (2); O. Reg. 430/20, s. 1.

(3) The fee for a commission reappointing a person other than a licensee under the Law Society Act as a notary public is $75.  O. Reg. 299/92, s. 1 (3); O. Reg. 430/20, s. 1.

2. Section 1 does not apply to a commission appointing as a notary public for Ontario a person who is an employee of,

(a) the Government of Canada;

(b) the Government of Ontario;

(c) a municipality in Ontario; or
