Public bodies

1. The following are public bodies for the purpose of the Act:

Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario.

The Law Society of Upper Canada.

Ontario Pension Benefits Guarantee Fund.

O. Reg. 411/04, s. 1.

Independent Electricity System Operator

2. The Independent Electricity System Operator is a public body for the purposes of the Act. O. Reg. 281/14, s. 1.

Export Development Canada

3. Export Development Canada, a corporation established by section 3 of the Export Development Act (Canada), is a public body for the purposes of the Act.  O. Reg. 454/08, s. 1.

Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada

4. Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada is a public body for the purposes of the Act.  O. Reg. 45/09, s. 1.

Note: On June 8, 2019, the day section 3 of Schedule 16 to the Stronger, Fairer Ontario Act (Budget Measures), 2017 comes into force, sections 1 to 4 of the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted: (See: O. Reg. 166/19, s. 1)

Public bodies

1. The following are public bodies for the purposes of the Act:

1. Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada.

2. Export Development Canada, a corporation established by section 3 of the Export Development Act (Canada).

3. The Independent Electricity System Operator.

4. The Law Society of Ontario.

5. The Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario in his or her capacity as administrator of the Pension Benefits Guarantee Fund. O. Reg. 166/19, s. 1.
