To be fair to everyone who orders a personalized licence plate, plates are issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
5. Can I order more than one combination at the same time?
No. If you order a personalized licence plate through the online service, you can only order one plate per transaction.
6. Can I pick up my personalized licence plate when it's ready?
No, it will be mailed to the address on MTO's system or to the delivery address if you have provided one during your order.
7. When will I receive my personalized licence plate?
You will receive your personalized licence plate in approximately six to eight weeks. If you do not receive your plate in that time contact the Driver and Vehicle Information Service at 416-235-2999 (GTA) or toll free in Canada at 1-800-387-3445.

Yes, a personalized plate can be transferred one time only to anyone before it is attached to a vehicle.
