S. 49 (2) Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005 (the “Act”)
August 8, 2024.
These particulars are posted following the issuance of a Compliance Order against a registered career college by the Superintendent of Career Colleges pursuant to s. 46 (2) of the Act.

Contraventions
The Superintendent of Career Colleges has ordered Target Truck Training Academy Inc. to:
- Stop contravening subsection 38 (10) (Inquiries and examinations; Obstruction) of the Act by providing false and misleading information to designates of the superintendent during their inquiries and examinations of the Registrant.
- Stop contravening subsection 41 (1) (b) (Qualifications of instructional staff) of Ontario Regulation 415/06 made under the Act by hiring and using and instructors to teach the AZ Tractor-Trailer (MELT) program that do not meet the instructor qualification requirements of the MELT Standard.
Required actions
By August 14, 2024, Target Truck Training Academy Inc. is required by the superintendent to provide written confirmation signed by a person with authority to bind the corporation, together with all available supporting evidence, confirming that they will:
- Not hinder, obstruct or interfere with designates of the Superintendent of Career Colleges while they are conducting inquiries and examinations pursuant to section 38 (Inquiries and examinations) of the Act.
- Only employ instructors that meet the instructor qualification requirements of the MELT Standard to deliver the AZ Tractor-Trailer (MELT) program pursuant to subsection 41 (1) (b) (Qualifications of instructional staff) of Ontario Regulation 415/06 made under the Act.
