Overview

The Foodland Ontario Retailer Awards Program is the produce industry’s premier competition.

It recognizes grocery retailers’ efforts to raise consumer awareness about the diversity of foods locally grown and harvested in the province of Ontario.

Stores submit photographs of their promotional displays to qualify for the awards, and the winners are selected by a panel.

The Retailer Awards recognized grocery retailers for 2023. These retailers made it easier for customers to choose and buy locally grown and harvested foods with their innovative in-store promotion of fresh Ontario food. Their store displays increased consumer awareness and education about the diversity of fruits and vegetables grown in Ontario.
