Effective March 21, 2005

On March 21st, 2005, the Ministry of Consumer and Business Services will file a regulation to combine the registry divisions of Niagara North (No. 30) and Niagara South (No. 59) to create a new registry division of Niagara (No. 30), which will be located in St. Catharines. A regulation to change the location of the land titles division of Niagara South (No. 59) from Welland to St. Catharines will also be filed on March 21st, 2005. The regulations will be effective as of the date of filing.

As of that date, the land registry offices for the land titles division of Niagara South (No. 59), the land titles division of Niagara North (No. 30) and the registry division of Niagara (No. 30) will be located at 59 Church Street, St. Catharines, Ontario L2R 3C3. The records of the former registry division of Niagara South (No. 59) and the land titles division of Niagara South (No. 59) will be available at that location.

All services, including French language services, currently offered at the Niagara South Land Registry Office (No. 59) will be offered at the Church Street location.

Documents affecting properties under the Registry Act currently located in the registry division of either Niagara South (No. 59) or Niagara North (No. 30) which are dated and signed on or after March 21, 2005, should refer to the new registry division of Niagara (No. 30).
