Land Registrars in the land titles system are advised than an agreement which provides for a charge to secure the payment of a debt or the performance of an obligation (e.g. a charge given to secure the obligations under a cost-sharing agreement) or which purports to grant an easement, whether or not the agreement includes a reference to existing easements, may be registered by way of notice of agreement pursuant to section 74 of the Land Titles Act.
