Order in Council 1115/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council O.C. 1114/2018 the position of Ontario’s Representative in Washington, D.C. was continued,

Therefore, pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty The Queen in Right of Ontario to provide for the remuneration of advisors who serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities, the following remuneration for Ontario’s Representative in Washington, D.C. is determined effective the date of that appointment:

Remuneration and Expenses

1. Salary: Ontario’s Representative in Washington, D.C. shall be $350,000 per annum.
2. Expenses and Allowances: Ontario’s Representative in Washington, D.C., shall be eligible for the following additional allowances and expenses related to the activities and duties of that office:
   • Medical, dental and extended insured benefits, excluding pension, equivalent to those applicable to Senior Economic Officers working abroad on behalf of Ontario.
   • Reimbursement of reasonable expenses and provision of applicable allowances and premiums, including accommodation, equivalent to those applicable to Senior Economic Officers working abroad on behalf of Ontario.
