Order in Council 1229/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 2364/96, dated December 11, 1996, Dr. Stephen W. Hinton was appointed as a Coroner for Ontario;

And whereas Dr. Stephen W. Hinton has, in writing, resigned his appointment as a Coroner for Ontario, effective January 27, 2011;

Therefore pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Coroners Act, as amended, Order in Council numbered O.C. 2364/96, dated December 11, 1996, appointing Dr. Stephen W. Hinton as a Coroner for Ontario, is hereby revoked effective the date of this Order in Council.
