
Order in Council 1382/2019
On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:
The portions of highway in the Geographic Township of Huntley, now in the City of Ottawa, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, shown as Parts 2 to 6 on Plan 4R-29635 (Ministry Plan P-6092-50), being a Reference Plan of Survey deposited in the Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Ottawa-Carleton (No.4), be closed, designated, transferred and amended as set out below:
- Part of Lot 3, Concession 1 shown as Part 5, be closed pursuant to subsection 29(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act,R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.50 as amended;
- Part of promenade Palladium Drive shown as Part 2 be designated as controlled-access highway pursuant to section 36 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.50 as amended;
- Part of Lot 3, Concession 1 shown as Part 6 be designated as King’s Highway pursuant to section 7 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.50 as amended and be transferred to the City of Ottawa and be vested in and under the jurisdiction and control of the City of Ottawa, effective on and after the date on which this order is approved, pursuant to subsection 29(4) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.50, as amended; and
- The designation as controlled-access highway described in Order In Council OC 1982/96 registered in the Land Registry office for the Registry Division of Ottawa-Carleton as Instrument N766839 (P-6092-39R), be amended so as to cease to apply to Parts 3 and 4 on Plan 4R-29635 (P-6092-50).
