Order in Council 1467/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

WHEREAS the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care has recommended to the Lieutenant Governor in Council that a hospital supervisor be appointed for the Brockville General Hospital under subsection 9(1) of the Public Hospitals Act;

AND WHEREAS the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care has given the board of Brockville General Hospital at least 14 days notice before making such recommendation to the Lieutenant Governor in Council in accordance with subsection 9(2) of the Public Hospitals Act;

AND WHEREAS the Lieutenant Governor in Council considers it in the public interest that a supervisor be appointed for the Brockville General Hospital;

THEREFORE, pursuant to subsection 9(1) of the Public Hospitals Act,

Stewart Kevin Empey

is hereby appointed as supervisor for the Brockville General Hospital to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council, effective the date this Order in Council is made;

AND FURTHER, the Supervisor shall be paid such remuneration and expenses as the Lieutenant Governor in Council may determine.
