Ontario Agri-food Innovation Alliance
The Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance (previously the OMAFRA-University of Guelph Partnership) is a collaboration between OMAFRA and the University of Guelph.
The programs under the Alliance are only open to University of Guelph staff and faculty, but there are opportunities for collaboration with external partners.
Ontario Agri-food Research Initiative
The Ontario Agri-food Research Initiative provides funding for open research programs that help create innovative products to support the agri-food industry.
The initiative is managed by OMAFRA and funded under the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership.
These programs are open to:
- academia (colleges or universities)
- research institutes
- industry or businesses
- non-governmental organizations (NGOs)
- Indigenous groups
- municipal government
- others
