Overview
If you are a victim of domestic violence and going through the family court process, you might be able to get help from a family court support worker.
A family court support worker will:
- provide information about the family court process
- help victims prepare for family court proceedings
- refer victims to other specialized services and supports in the community
- help with safety planning, such as getting to and from court safely
- accompany the victim to court proceedings, where appropriate
Eligibility
You can receive direct supports through the Family Court Support Worker program if you are a victim of domestic violence and:
- involved in the family court process
- may become involved in a family court case
Find a family court support worker
Family court support workers are hired and trained by victim service agencies and are available in all court districts across Ontario.
The table below lists the agencies that have family court support workers available to help you based on the location of your case.

Locations with French Language Services (FLS) offer family court support services in both English and French.
