About this funding opportunity
As part of Ontario’s four-year cross-government action plan to prevent and address gender-based violence, we are investing in new community-based programs and services that respond to the needs of victims, survivors and their families and communities.
Ontario is investing approximately $98 million over the next three years in new gender-based violence services and supports that prevent violence and address the needs of local communities and populations in four key areas:
- education and awareness
- early intervention and prevention
- community planning and service integration
- economic security and financial independence
