Protecting What Matters Most Act (Budget Measures), 2019

We, by and with the advice of the Executive Council of Ontario, name,

  1. January 1, 2022 as the day on which the following provision of the Protecting What Matters Most Act (Budget Measures), 2019, c. 7, which repeals the Compensation for Victims of Crime Act, comes into force:

  2. January 1, 2022 as the day on which the following provision of the Protecting What Matters Most Act (Budget Measures), 2019, c. 7, which amends the Prohibiting Profiting from Recounting Crimes Act, 2002, comes into force:

  2. Schedule 15, s. 50 (which repeals the Legal Aid Services Act, 1998).
  3. Schedule 15, s. 51 (which revokes O. Reg. 106/99 and O. Reg. 107/99 made under the Legal Aid Services Act, 1998).
  4. Schedule 15, s. 52 (which amends the Children’s Law Reform Act).
