Background
The REDAP is responsible for providing non-binding advice, in the form of recommendations, to the Minister on applications for funding under:
- The Rural Economic Development Program (REDP);
- Programs under the REDP; or
- Any other program that the Lieutenant Governor in Council or the Minister assigns to the REDAP.
Membership
The REDAP consists of a maximum of fourteen members appointed by the Minister, including a chair and at least one vice-chair. The Minister may select up to two members to act as vice-chairs.

Term
Members are appointed for a term of up to 3 years and are eligible for reappointment at the Minister's discretion.

On an "as needed" basis.

The government recently announced a number of initiatives supporting the Premier's commitment to Open Government by promoting greater transparency in classified agencies. Beginning April 1, 2015, expense information for classified agencies must be posted.
