Les conseils scolaires de l’Ontario offrent des cours de formation linguistique. Vous pouvez suivre des cours au niveau débutant, intermédiaire ou avancé.
Options d’apprentissage

- temps partiel ou temps plein
- en journée ou en soirée
- du lundi au vendredi ou la fin de semaine
Durée du programme
- La durée varie. Vous pouvez commencer et terminer à différentes dates. Vous pouvez suivre tous les cours dont vous avez besoin pour atteindre vos objectifs.
Admissibilité
Vous devez être un(e) résident(e) de l’Ontario et faire partie de l’une des catégories suivantes :
- citoyen(ne) canadien(ne) naturalisé(e)
- résident(e) permanent(e)
- personne protégée (y compris réfugié(e) au sens de la Convention)
- demanderesse ou demandeur du statut de réfugié
- candidat(e) provincial(e) approuvé(e) par l’entremise du Programme ontarien des candidats à l’immigration
- personne admise en vertu d’un programme fédéral pour les aides familiaux autorisés à présenter une demande de résidence permanente

- devez vous préparer pour un test d’anglais, comme le TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) ou l’IELTS (International English Language Testing System)

Ce programme est gratuit.
Les fournisseurs de services peuvent facturer des frais pour les ressources pédagogiques.
Comment s’inscrire
- Contactez votre centre d’évaluation linguistique le plus proche. Vérifiez si vous êtes admissible et passez une évaluation. Ces centres sont également appelés « Centres du SCELA », ce qui signifie « Centres du Système coordonné d’évaluation linguistique et d’aiguillage » (centres « CLARS » en anglais).
- Lorsque vous recevrez les résultats de l’évaluation, vous obtiendrez une liste des programmes financés par le gouvernement fédéral ou provincial parmi lesquels vous pourrez choisir.
- Inscrivez-vous au cours que vous souhaitez suivre.
