We’re using your feedback to inform work around the line-by-line review of spending on government programs and services.
We’re now moving from consultation to conversation. You can request to have the President of the Treasury Board, Peter Bethlenfalvy, visit your community to talk more about this important work.
Overview
On July 17 2018, the government announced the launch of an external line-by-line review of government spending.
This work was done by outside experts, EY Canada, following a competitive bidding process.
The report
EY Canada’s report is a review of government spending over the last 15 years, and offers recommendations about how provincial programs and services can achieve better results for the people of Ontario.
About the consultation
The results of this consultation will help make sure the programs and services being delivered by the government are meeting the needs of people across the province.
Public consultations continue to be an important part of this review, and will help inform our ongoing work and future financial planning for the province
