The Foodland Ontario Retailer Awards Program is the produce industry’s premier competition that recognizes grocery retailers’ efforts to raise consumer awareness about the diversity of foods locally grown and harvested in the province of Ontario. 

This year, our annual Retailer Awards recognized 60 grocery retailers who are making it easier for Ontarians to choose and buy locally-grown and harvested foods with their innovative in-store promotion of fresh Ontario food. Their store displays increase consumer awareness and education about the diversity of fruits and vegetables grown in Ontario. Stores submit photographs of their promotional displays to qualify for the awards, and the winners are selected by a panel.
