Service changes due to COVID-19

Some locations are closed and others are operating with reduced hours. Complete your transactions online when possible and stay home if you are sick or have been exposed to COVID-19.

If you must visit a ServiceOntario centre, follow physical distancing rules and wear a face covering.

Book an appointment online

You can book an appointment online at some ServiceOntario centres two weeks in advance:

Other locations are currently walk-in only. Check which locations are open and what services are available.

After booking online

You will receive an email shortly after booking with:

  • your confirmation number
  • location details
  • the date and time of your appointment

You will also receive a reminder email the day before your appointment.

If you can't access our services online

Call us Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern time, excluding holidays.

Cancel your appointment

If you want to cancel your appointment, follow the instructions in your:

  • confirmation email, or
  • reminder email

If you want to change the time of your appointment, cancel your initial appointment and book a new appointment.

The day of your appointment

Before visiting the centre, make sure it is open. We will do our best to contact you in the event of irregular operations.

Bring all necessary supporting documents with you to your appointment.

When visiting a ServiceOntario centre, follow current public health advice. You should:

  • wash your hands thoroughly before arriving
  • do your best to keep at least two metres away from others
  • cough or sneeze into your sleeve or tissue and wash your hands after
  • wear a face covering
