This is saving commuters an average of $1,600 annually.

We’re also keeping costs down by banning highway tolls province-wide.

Tolls were permanently removed from the provincially owned Highway 407 East on June 1, 2025, saving daily commuters up to $7,200 annually.

Tolls were also permanently removed from Highway 412 and Highway 418 in April 2022, saving daily commuters up to $2,100 annually.

Drive Clean

We are also keeping costs down for taxpayers by eliminating the Drive Clean program, saving taxpayers over $40 million a year.

You may be saving money on tickets

New rules under the Ticket Sales Act, 2017, are now in effect that make it illegal for tickets to concerts, cultural events, sporting events and other live entertainment in Ontario to be resold for more than the original price paid to the primary seller.

These changes aim to protect fans from exploitative resellers and keep live events affordable.
