On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas:

  1. By Order in Council 1219/2024 dated September 24, 2024, the Lieutenant Governor in Council appointed a supervisor for London Health Sciences Centre under subsection 9(1) of the Public Hospitals Act (the “Supervisor”).
  2. By Order in Council 1218/2024 dated September 24, 2024, the Lieutenant Governor in Council approved the remuneration of the Supervisor and ordered that the number of days for which the Supervisor may be remunerated shall not exceed a total of 375 days.
  3. The Minister of Health recommends and requests that approval be given to remunerate the Supervisor for an additional 500 days to enable the Supervisor to complete his mandate at London Health Sciences Centre.

Now therefore, Order in Council 1218/2024 shall be amended by striking out paragraph 2 and replacing it with the following:

2. The number of days for which the Supervisor may be remunerated under this Order shall not exceed a total of 875 days.
