Order in Council 1511/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

1. the portions of highway in the Unsubdivided Geographic Township of Ewart (Unorganized), in the District of Kenora, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, and shown as Parts 1 on Ministry Plan P-8253-14, filed with the Record Services Unit, Northwest Region, Ministry of Transportation at Thunder Bay on the 19^th day of August 2025, be designated as secondary highway pursuant to section 40 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50 as amended; and
2. Order in Council OC-450/93 dated 17^th February 1993, designating the above-mentioned highway as secondary highway, registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Kenora as Instrument LT224886 (Plan Misc. 801), Ministry of Transportation Plan P-8253, is hereby revoked pursuant to section 40 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50 as amended; and
3. the portions of highway in the Unsubdivided Geographic Township of Ewart (Unorganized), in the District of Kenora, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, and shown as PARTS 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 on Ministry Plan P-8253-14, filed with the Record Services Unit, Northwest Region, Ministry of Transportation at Thunder Bay on the 19^th day of August 2025, be closed pursuant to subsection 29(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50 as amended.
