Order in Council 1514/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

1. the portions of a proposed highway in the Geographic Township of McTavish, in the Municipality of Shuniah, in the District of Thunder Bay, and shown as Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 on Ministry of Transportation Plan P-2581-138, filed with the Record Services Unit, Northwest Region, Ministry of Transportation at Thunder Bay on the 19th day of August 2025, be designated as a controlled-access highway pursuant to section 36 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50 as amended; and
2. Order in Council OC-883/2003 dated 9^th April 2003, designating the portions of the above-mentioned proposed highway as a controlled-access highway, registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Thunder Bay as Instrument F119336, shown on Ministry of Transportation Plan P-2581-60, and registered in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of Thunder Bay as Instrument TBR432788 (Ministry Plan P-2581-60), is hereby amended so as to cease to apply to the portion of highway shown as PARTS 1 and 2 on Ministry Plan P-2581-138 filed as described in section 1 above; and
3. Order in Council OC-3232/84 dated 20^th December 1984, designating the portions of the above-mentioned highway as a controlled-access highway, registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Thunder Bay as Instrument LT199972-P (Plan Misc. 358), shown on Ministry of Transportation Plan P-2581-58, and registered in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of Thunder Bay as Instrument 262062-P, shown on Ministry of Transportation Plan P-2581-58, is hereby amended so as to cease to apply to the portions of highway shown as PART 2 on Ministry Plan P-2581-138 filed as described in section 1 above.
