Order in Council 1525/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas The Niagara Parks Commission is the owner of the lands identified in Schedule “A” (the “Lands”);

And whereas subsection 7(1) of the Niagara Parks Act authorizes The Niagara Parks Commission to sell or otherwise dispose of any land or any interest in land, subject to the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council;

And whereas, pursuant to an Agreement of Purchase and Sale dated November 9, 2023, The Niagara Parks Commission agreed to sell the Lands to The Regional Municipality of Niagara, subject to the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council;

Now therefore, pursuant to subsection 7(1) of the Niagara Parks Act, approval is hereby given to The Niagara Parks Commission to:

1. sell the Lands to The Regional Municipality of Niagara; and
2. execute such documents as may be necessary for that purpose.
