Order in Council 1565/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

1. the portion of highway in the Geographic Township of Wabigoon (Unorganized), in the District of Kenora, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, and shown as Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 on Ministry Plan P-2963-10, filed with the Record Service Unit, Northwest Region, Ministry of Transportation at Thunder Bay on the 13th day of August 2024, be designated or closed as described below:
   1. Parts 1, 2 and 3 be designated as a secondary highway pursuant to section 40 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50 as amended; and
   2. Part 4 be closed pursuant to subsection 29(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50 as amended; and
2. the designation as a secondary highway by Order in Council O.C.1096/56 dated 3^rd October 1956, registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Kenora as Instrument M351, and registered in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of Kenora as Instrument PL256 (Ministry Plan A-45-20), be amended so as to cease to apply to the portion of highway shown as Parts 1, 2 and 3, on Ministry Plan P-2963-10 filed as described above.
