On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas subsection 9(1) of the Species Conservation Act, 2025 continued the Committee on the Status of Species at Risk in Ontario;

And whereas subsection 9(2) and 9(4) of the Species Conservation Act, 2025 provide that the Committee shall be composed of such members as are appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council, one of whom shall be designated as the chair and one of whom shall be designated as the vice-chair;

Therefore, the remuneration for members of the Committee on the Status of Species at Risk in Ontario shall be as follows:

  1. The chair shall receive $225 per diem;
  2. The vice-chair shall receive $175 per diem; and
  3. The other members shall receive $150 per diem

effective the date that the Species Conservation Act, 2025 comes into force.
