Order in Council 2018/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty The Queen in Right of Ontario to appoint persons to serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Kevin French

be appointed Deputy Minister of Government and Consumer Services, effective October 9, 2017, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a term not extending beyond December 31, 2018;

And pursuant to subsection 3(2) of the Ministry of Government Services Act,

Kevin French

be appointed as Queen’s Printer for Ontario, effective October 9 , 2017, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a term concurrent with his appointment as Deputy Minister of Government and Consumer Services;

And that Order in Council O.C. 1708/2017, dated August 17, 2017, be revoked on the effective date of this appointment.
