On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the position of Special Advisor on Ontario Place Development (“Special Advisor”) was established by Order in Council number O.C. 219/2021, dated February 25, 2021;

Therefore, pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario to provide for the remuneration of advisors who serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities:

  1. The Special Advisor on Ontario Place Development shall be entitled to the following remuneration:

    Remuneration

    1. Daily remuneration at the rate of seven hundred dollars ($700.00) per day, up to a maximum of two-hundred and forty-five (245) days per year, so that the maximum amount payable is one hundred and seventy-one thousand and five hundred dollars ($171,500).

    Expenses

    1. Reimbursement of reasonable expenses incurred while carrying out the duties of Special Advisor and in accordance with the Management Board of Cabinet’s Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive.
