Order in Council 240/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas C. Michael Mitchell has been reappointed as full-time vice-chair of the Ontario Labour Relations Board by Order in Council O.C.O.C. 64/2021, effective February 28, 2021.

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 110(24) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 and despite Order in Council O.C. 2310/2017, as amended by Order in Council O.C. 893/2018,

C. Michael Mitchell be paid annual remuneration of $156,077 during the term of this reappointment;

Further, that C. Michael Mitchell be eligible for benefits, including vacation, comparable to the benefit entitlements of OPS executives in the Senior Management Group and be entitled to elect to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan in accordance with the provisions of the Plan;

And Further, that C. Michael Mitchell be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out his duties for the Ontario Labour Relations Board in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
