On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to section 6.1 of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act, as amended, Teepu Shaheed Khawja be appointed as Chief, Emergency Management Ontario, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding three years effective February 24, 2020;

And that Order in Council numbered O.C. 1705/2019, dated November 21, 2019 appointing Douglas Browne as Chief, Emergency Management Ontario, be revoked effective February 24, 2020.
