On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

WHEREAS by Order in Council numbered O.C. 121/2022, dated January 27, 2022, Thomas Carrique was reappointed as Commissioner of the Ontario Provincial Police for a period not to exceed three years, effective March 9, 2022,

AND WHEREAS it is desirable that Thomas Carrique be further reappointed as Commissioner of the Ontario Provincial Police,

THEREFORE, pursuant to subsection 56 (1) of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019, Thomas Carrique be further reappointed as Commissioner of the Ontario Provincial Police to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not to exceed three years effective from the later of March 9, 2025 and the date this Order in Council is made.
